Compressed Air Systems Technician
Job Responsibilities for a Compressed Air System Service Technician
- The position will involve but not be limited to the following duties:
- Must be a “D” classification or higher (internal candidates)
- Knowledgeable in air compressors and air distribution systems Sullair Air Systems preferred
- Proficient knowledge of refrigeration and air dyer systems to successfully perform troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Proficient knowledge of portable air systems to successfully perform troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Proficient knowledge of engines to successfully perform troubleshooting and diagnostics (CAT engines preferred)
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to meet insurability standards to drive a company vehicle
- CDL or the ability to obtain a CDL
- Outgoing, aggressive in seeking resolution and has excellent customer service skills
- Good customer communications skills, both verbal and oral
- Must be able to lift 75lbs.
- Qualifications for a Air System Service Technician
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on air systems
- Complete service reports, timecards, and order parts timely and accurately
- Work overtime as workload dictates
- Work with minimal supervision
- Work in field at various customer locations & work around customer schedule
- Overnight travel and overnight work will be required
- Must be willing to cross train and work in other areas of the service department
- Computer skills required
- Maintain training requirements for the position
- Other duties as assigned
