C Level Technician

Jerry Seiner Chevrolet/Cadillac of Salt Lake City seeks a skilled and experienced GM Technician to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for GM vehicles and possess at least 1-2 years of relevant experience, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform diagnostic assessments and repairs on GM vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines.
  2. Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
  3. Efficiently diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
  4. Keep up to date with GM technology and advancements through ongoing training and self-study.
  5. Collaborate with Service Advisors to communicate repair details, estimated completion times, and additional recommendations to customers.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours for each service performed.
  7. Follow safety protocols and adhere to dealership policies and procedures.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction with completed repairs.

 

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a GM Technician or equivalent.
  2. Proficient in diagnosing and repairing GM vehicles, including knowledge of GM-specific systems and components.
  3. Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex automotive issues.
  4. Experience working with diagnostic tools and equipment specific to GM vehicles.
  5. Familiarity with GM service manuals and repair procedures.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  7. ASE certification or equivalent is preferred but not required.
  8. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  9. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  10. Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  11. A willingness to learn and grow.
