Recall Technician
Heritage Ford is seeking a technician who focus primarily on performing and completing factory recall work. Customer base is sufficient to schedule a continuous workflow throughout the day.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with factory technical guidance.
- Test-drive vehicles, perform multi-point inspections, utilize test components and systems as needed to complete work.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all repair work.
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong automotive background with a good knowledge of automobiles
- Strong teamwork skills
- Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
- Valid driver’s license free from major interactions required
- Ability to identify the problem quickly
- Have own tools
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
- Should be able to operate basic electronic testing equipment
- Technical degree preferred
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, friendly attitude
