Refuse Technician
Refuse technician is responsible for preforming maintenance and repair services on refuse trucks and related equipment to ensure reliable and efficient waste collection operations.
The role requires technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
as well to safety and vehicle Proformance.
Perform routine inspections, preventive Maintenace, and repairs refuse trucks, including brakes, suspension, and hydraulic system.
diagnose and repair hydraulic systems including compactors lifts and levers to ensure proper functioning during waste collection.
use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner minimizing vehicle down time.
conduct regular safety checks to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. identify potential hazards or worn-out components and address them they affect the vehicle Proformance.
