Lead Diagnostic Diesel Technician

Myles Truck Repair is looking to add another semi-truck diesel mechanic for the day shift 8 am to 5 pm Monday - Friday; half days every other Saturday is available for overtime opportunities. This opening is available for both our Lawrenceville and Auburn shops as well as full-time road service techs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of experience in replacing brakes & PM services.
  • Must have large knowledge basis for semi truck diagnostic and heavy truck motor rebuilding experience.
  • Prefer knowledge in fault diagnostics, A/C systems, brake systems, emission systems, air systems, and diagnostics/troubleshooting of diesel engines and trailer assemblies.
  • Accurately complete all paperwork including repair information on work orders, information for state inspections, etc.
  • Dedication and adherence to all company and industry safety standards.
  • Diesel repair and maintenance experience in heavy truck / DOT compliance.
  • Factory-trained certifications are preferred.
  • Ability to get to work on time, read and write English, lift to 60lbs.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to find the source of problems.
  • Work with hand tools, precision, and other equipment.
  • Prefer a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma/GED preferred.
  • Possess own tools to perform work on all systems on diesel equipment.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to use diagnostic programs & work order software.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and MVR check.
