Experienced Auto Body Technician
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Repair and replace damaged auto body parts and components to pre-accident condition.
- Prep and refurbish vehicles and parts following paint manufacturer guidelines
- Willingness to share and teach lesser skilled techs to help advance their development
- Perform at a high level and be able to follow strict quality standards
- Frame repair experience helpful but not required
- Positive attitude and being team oriented is required
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Essential Work Experience):
- Grade 12 graduate or GED
- Valid driver’s license- CDL is desired but not required.
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Tools are required
- Experience with shop safety, shop work practices, mechanical systems and use of all hand and power tools
- Computer keyboarding skills and basic understanding of computer diagnostic systems is desirable
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and completing work with a sense of urgency
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Sense of sound is required.
- Sense of balance is required.
- Limb and finger dexterity is required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to perform twisting, turning, bending, climbing, pushing, and pulling motions.
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs.
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
