Body / Restoration Technician
Our long-running shop is looking for skilled technicians with multiple years of expertise that want to take the next step in their craft. If you're tired of the daily flag-rate routine and are passionate about historical classics, we may have the position for you.
Here at Farland Classic Restoration, we have more than 30 years of experience detailing, restoring, preserving, and selling classic automobiles. We are looking for an experienced Restoration Technician with experience in classic, historical, and vintage icons. Here at Farland, you'll work with some of the most historically significant models of the past 80 years, including brands like Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche, Mercedes Benz, Jaguar, MG, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, and many more.
Expectations: 10+ years of body/metalworking experience Understanding of vintage European, Japanese, and American automotive design and manufacturing
You should be able to wear many hats and help out in a multitude of areas relating to restoration: previous experience blocking/sanding vehicles, Passion for developing specialty metalworking and restoration skills.
Our technicians should be able to shift gears quickly and must be able to work on many different projects throughout a given week. We expect our technicians to grow their skills while helping keep our shop at the forefront of classic car restoration here in Denver.
Skills: Passion for developing specialty metalworking/restoration skills
Knowledge of mig & tig welding
Knowledge of metal finishing, filling
Knowledge of panel repair & rust repair
Ability to problem-solve
