GPS Installation Technician
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day GPS installation.
- Install GPS fleet tracking/AVL/Telematics equipment in vehicles of all types.
- Install vehicle electronics, i.e., mobile electronics, communication, navigation, security, tracking equipment, etc.
- Troubleshoot, i.e., diagnose and repair, all electronics listed above.
- Clean and organize all assigned field inventory, company assigned equipment, uniforms, laptops/tablets, smartphones, and vehicles.
- Be a solid team player working closely with team members, service providers, and carriers.
- Follow all instructions, rules, and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as needed or requested.
Requirements
- 21+ years old with valid driver’s license, 2+ years driving experience, and clean driving record (required)
- High School diploma, or GED certification (required)
- 1 - 2+ years’ experience: GPS installation (required)
- 1 - 2+ years’ experience: automotive electrical systems (required)
- 1 - 2+ years’ experience in automotive recon shop (preferred, but not required)
- Weekend availability
