Collision Estimator
O'Daniel Auto Group is seeking to hire an experienced Automotive Body Shop Estimator to ensure the overall efficiency, profitability, and reputation of our auto body shop operations by providing timely, accurate, and customer-approved estimates for repair work. Responsibilities - Body Shop Estimator:
- Use excellent communication skills and empathetic nature to help customers through the process
- Greeting customers and discussing repair options
- Determining repair needs based on customer information, vehicle walk-around, inspections and test drives
- Understanding basic parameters of collision repair as well as insurance programs
- Producing repair orders for customers, including cost and time estimates, with full transparency
- Communicating frequently with technicians and parts Associates to ensure timely completion of work
- Following up with customers on the status of their vehicle based on how the customer wants to be informed and answering customer questions as needed
- Managing multiple repairs simultaneously
- Processing transactions
- Gaining superior product knowledge to effectively help customers
- Ensuring that all administrative processes are handled in a timely fashion and in compliance with company policies
- Providing exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty
Requirements - Body Shop Estimator:
- Experience as an Automotive Body Shop Estimator is required
- Automotive dealership experience is preferred
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Organized with good problem-solving skills
- Strong record of positive Customer Satisfaction (CSI) results
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude
- Valid driver's license
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and be a current resident
