Collision Technician - A Level
Who You Are
- Possess mechanical aptitude and fabrication skills
- 3+ years or more experience repairing heavily damaged vehicles in the custom car, truck and/or Hot Rod industry; European car experience a plus
- Welding skills (Tig & Mig), required
- Paint knowledge; a plus (Sikkens Products)
- Experience in the Composites Field, a plus
- Ability to identify issues and make recommendations to improve existing processes
- Thrive in a team-based environment and achieve common goals
- Motivated to work in a high-paced, dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to change
- Self-supply basic personal tools
What You’ll Do
- Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
- Knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the department
- Properly repair collision damage
- Body sheet metal fab and repair
- Structural fabrication
- Panel replacement and panel design
- Fiberglass work
- Disassembly and assembly
- Maintain proper record of time and materials
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, coworkers, and other departments
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment
- Perform other related duties as assigned
