Parts Professionals
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain parts inventory, including tracking stock levels, ordering parts, and ensuring timely receipt of orders.
- Collaborate with technicians and repair planners to identify parts needs for ongoing repairs and ensure parts availability.
- Use industry-standard software and systems to locate, order, and track parts from suppliers.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers to resolve any issues related to parts ordering, delivery, or quality.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with parts inquiries, addressing customer concerns, and offering product recommendations.
- Inspect incoming parts for accuracy and quality, and handle returns or exchanges as needed.
- Keep accurate records of parts transactions, inventory levels, and supplier communications.
- Stay informed about automotive parts trends, new products, and industry best practices through ongoing training and development.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in handling and storing parts.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Parts Professional or similar role in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, systems, and repair processes.
- Proficiency in using parts management software and systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, technicians, and vendors.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing parts inventory and transactions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- ASE certification and/or experience with Tesla parts are a plus.
