B Level Technician
Zeigler Honda of Racine is looking for motivated Automotive Technicians of all levels to join our team. We are a successful privately owned and operated franchise with 35 locations a crossed the Midwest. We offer a friendly staff, and experienced leadership in all of our facilities to help our technicians achieve their career goals. Serving the greater Racine area, we have become a staple in our community for vehicle service and repair needs. Responsibilities:
We work on all makes and models, and on a wide variety of repairs. Responsibilities for this include, but are not limited to: -
Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
-Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning in a timely manner
-Communication with Parts Specialist and Service Advisors
-Road test vehicles when required
-Perform quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer, as well as ensuring customers vehicle is kept clean
-Ensure that required documentation is completed and accurate
-Reports machine defects and malfunctions
-Maintain up-to-date knowledge about our industry
-Ensure that workspace is kept clean and equipment and tools are kept in good condition and stored properly
Qualifications:
Successful candidates for the automotive technician position will have:
-3+ years experience as an automotive technician
-ASE/Manufacturer Certifications (Preferred)
-Diagnostic ability
-Troubleshooting skills
-Commitment to quality
-Basic computer skills
-Team player
-Good communicator
-Personal set of tools
-Valid/Clean driver’s license
