Transmission Automotive Technician / Mechanic

We are Titus-Will Chevrolet in Tacoma/Parkland! Titus-Will is a trusted, family-owned and operated business since 1938. Many of our employees have made a career of working on our team. We are seeking experienced Transmission Technicians looking for a fun, friendly, and professional working environment. Must be self-motivated and have a good attitude towards customers and co-workers. This job requires personal tools and a willingness to learn and grow.

  • $20.00 - $45.00/flat rate hour depending on experience plus incentives up to $2/hour over existing rate

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Transmission Technician/Specialist experience; any make/model experience welcomed!
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive transmissions
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
