Tow Truck Driver
- Operate tow trucks and other vehicles to transport vehicles to and from the collision center, ensuring safe and efficient delivery.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles, securing them properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure the tow truck is in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing assistance and addressing any concerns during the towing process.
- Coordinate with the repair team to ensure timely arrival and delivery of vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of towing activities, including vehicle details, pick-up and drop-off times, and any issues encountered.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies while operating the tow truck.
- Respond to towing requests in a timely manner, including handling emergency situations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) and a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a Tow Truck Driver or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of towing equipment and techniques, including vehicle loading and securing.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in various situations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns is a plus.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and carrying equipment.
