Toyota Master Technician

Cavender Toyota, a Cavender Auto Family Dealership, is currently looking for a talented Toyota Master Technician to join our growing family and help "Make Confidence Happen".

Here is what you will be doing:

  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
  • Complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
  • Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Management


Here is what you will need:

  • Toyota Master Technician certification is required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably at a Toyota dealership
  • Extensive knowledge of Toyota vehicles, systems, and repair procedure
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, team-oriented environment
  • Manufacture ASE certifications preferred
  • Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
  • Valid driver's license
