Automotive Internet Sales Rep

We’re seeking a motivated Internet Sales Representative to join our team and help drive our online sales efforts.

Job Summary: The Internet Sales Representative will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries generated through the dealership’s website, social media, and other online platforms. This role plays a critical part in generating leads, following up with potential buyers, and guiding them through the car-buying process. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to inbound leads and internet inquiries via email, phone, and online chat.
  • Assist customers with product information, pricing, and availability to guide them through the sales process.
  • Schedule test drives and in-store appointments for customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with online customers by providing follow-up and exceptional customer service.
  • Manage and update the dealership’s CRM system with accurate customer information and communication records.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth transitions between internet and in-store processes.
  • Monitor and maintain online inventory, ensuring all vehicles are accurately listed with detailed descriptions and competitive pricing.
  • Keep up-to-date with product knowledge, promotions, and financing options to effectively respond to customer inquiries.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in internet sales, automotive sales, or a similar customer service role preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
  • Experience using CRM systems and online lead management tools.
  • Basic knowledge of the automotive industry and products is a plus.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with customers.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
