Body Shop A Technicians

Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex collision repairs on various types of vehicles, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and structural issues related to collision damage.
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment, including frame machines, paint booths, and diagnostic tools, to complete repairs.
  • Work closely with the estimators and parts department to ensure accurate parts ordering and repair estimates.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members to provide updates on repair progress and address any concerns.
  • Stay current with the latest repair techniques, technologies, and industry trends through ongoing training and development.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Body Technician, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of collision repair techniques, including frame alignment, paint matching, and panel replacement.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, technical bulletins, and repair estimates.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • ASE certification and/or manufacturer-specific certifications are a plus.
