Body Shop A Technicians
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex collision repairs on various types of vehicles, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and structural issues related to collision damage.
- Use a variety of tools and equipment, including frame machines, paint booths, and diagnostic tools, to complete repairs.
- Work closely with the estimators and parts department to ensure accurate parts ordering and repair estimates.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to provide updates on repair progress and address any concerns.
- Stay current with the latest repair techniques, technologies, and industry trends through ongoing training and development.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Body Technician, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of collision repair techniques, including frame alignment, paint matching, and panel replacement.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, technical bulletins, and repair estimates.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- ASE certification and/or manufacturer-specific certifications are a plus.
