About the Role:
• Perform steering and suspension repairs/maintenance
• Perform general drive train repairs/maintenance
• Perform general brake repair
• Performs oil changes
• Performs safety inspections
• Performs general shop service of machines
• Performs filter changes (air, cabin air, fuel)
• Complete assigned training
• Demonstrates shop and personal safety habits, vehicle preparation tasks, workplace skills and engine repair tasks
The Must-Haves:
• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
• High school or college automotive program training
• Experience working in a service repair shop
• ASE A1 – Engine Repair, A2 – Automatic Transmission/Transaxle, A3 – Manual Drive Train & Axles , A4 – Suspension & Steering, A5 – Brakes or OEM equivalents, A6 – Electrical/Electronic Systems, A8 – Engine Performance,
Preferred Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of a high school automotive service MLR program and/or Automotive certificate from a community college or equivalent training.
