Service Writer
The Automotive Service Writer greets customers, listens to their description of the problems or service needed, determine the type of service required and prepare repair orders. If a vehicle requires additional repairs not covered in the original order, the service writer estimates the additional cost and telephones the customer advise and get authorization for the additional work. They also advise the customers on other available services.
