Mechanical Assembler / Diesel Engine Assemblers
Night Shift only 11p-7a
$18-$28 Starting Wage per hour
Clarke Fire is recognized worldwide as a leading manufacturer of diesel fire pump engines.
We are looking for Diesel Engine Assemblers to join our team at our Clarke Fire Sharonville location!
We have Night shift available with shift premium wage!

What are the duties?
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Positions parts according to assembly instructions or following blueprints
- Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners
- Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts
- Operates drill presses, punch presses, or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation
- Requires basic set of hand tools
- Must be available for 1st shift (7a-3:30p) or 3rd shift (11p-7a) and possibly 2nd shift {not currently active} (3p-11:30p) in the future. Union Shop
- Must be able to work Overtime
- Versatile Team player willing to learn multiple processes.
Skills and/or Experience
- Use of hand tools and pneumatic or battery impact tools
- Understand torque values and ability to use torque wrenches
- Detail oriented, ability to read parts list
- Complete documentation and other necessary paperwork
PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
