C Level Technician
We’re seeking Entry-Level Service Technicians to join us at Cavender Auto Group. Are you looking for an opportunity to grow within the automotive industry? We offer four phases you will move through while acquiring the skills necessary to succeed. In this position, we will assist with attending training, obtaining certifications and even provide you with your own set of tools along with a locking toolbox.
Responsibilities:
Work through each phase, completing a practical test to move onto the next phase. Perform maintenance and repair work per manufacturer's specifications. Return warranty parts and cores back to the part department. Complete a multipoint inspection on every vehicle worked on. Drain oil from crankcase and refill with the required amount of oil; replace oil and air filters. Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary. Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Qualifications:
Eagerness to improve. Willingness to take guidance from your assigned mentor and management. Strong manual dexterity skills. Collaborates well with others in a team setting. Strong communication skills. Punctual and reliable. Basic computer skills. Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality. Enjoy working in a fast paced environment. Willingness to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check.
