Service Advisor
Ford/CDJR/Quick lane experience is desired.
Job Summary: The Service Writer acts as a liaison between customers and the service department. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, scheduling service appointments, and ensuring that all service work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Your role is crucial in maintaining customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and listen to their concerns regarding vehicle issues.
Schedule service appointments and manage the service calendar.
Prepare detailed repair orders and estimates for customers.
Communicate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely repairs.
Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle and any additional repairs needed.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any service-related issues.
Maintain accurate records of all service transactions and customer interactions.
Promote and sell additional services and products to customers.
Ensure a clean and organized service desk area.
Follow all dealership policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or automotive training is a plus.
Previous experience as a service writer or in a customer service role within the automotive industry is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency with computer systems and software used in automotive service departments.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
